"This book left me with my emotions all over the place. There's a lot going on and so much more to come. Everybody is going through something and need to make decisions that will cause a ripple effect. Free needs to come clean, I hated that she kept the facade going. What is ghost going to do? He'll be hit with so many different situations at once. I hope justice learns her lesson. With priest dealing with his own family issues, will he have time for her? Liberty is up in the air with her love life, we didn't get much of her in this book but I'm hoping the next book addresses that. I know staten wants more with chanel but how does she truly feel about them being together, I can't figure them out. So many enemies that need to be dealt with and so many secrets need to be unveiled. The book kept your interest throughout but there were too many editing issues. Some mistaking of names and misuse of words put the flow off a bit. Definitely curious to see what direction these characters go, nice read"

  • Let me tell you I love Free and Lib so much Mirror is a character she keeps her brothers busy. Zoe and Zeek need to do on somewhere they just started a.war. Justice needs to awake and move on never expected that from her. That ending OMG
  • I chose this rating because of all the action and entertainment from the brothers, friend's and families. I can't believe that she wouldn't tell him about the twins,, even after she returned back home, she's still lying to everyone. I hope that the little girls will make it and uncle too.
  • I am waiting for part 3
  • I mean really we hiding kids for 9 years. Thats just trifling. Then you want me to think that Ghost not aware his wife a thot? Yea ok. For Justice to so smart she dumber than a bag of rocks letting a ninja hit all over her. Also, Its like you forgot to include Staten and Liberty. You wait until the last chapter to throw them in like an after thought. I mean liberty barley got four chapters and staten maybe got three. If you headline 6 main character then give me 6 points of views or story lines. I need for book two to do better. Hell, I hope it not more than a three series book but won’t hold my breath.
  • The story started off good, but once we got to the ten years I was over it. I kept reading because I was wondering where the women were.

Ghost talked all that stuff about shakira, but he stayed, like that didnt make no type of sense. How was he any better? She wasnt a good mother, she didnt work, she didnt take care of the house, and she was super disrespectful to yo momma and sister. He still gave her money anytime she asked for it, and they never had sex. Why was he with her again? Then to say u propose to her because of her parents, like I didnt understand that. Ghost was suppose to be this big man in the streets, but he was a bi@t in his personal life.

Then this priest dude got on my nerve soooo bad. Dude u ain't the first person to have to raise kids. Y lead Marisol on, when he saw her catching feelings he should have left her alone. His chapters was repetitive just like ghosts chapters.

This story was already starting to work my nerve with all the repetition, these characters repeated the same stuff over and over..but when it got to Free's chapter and she started talking abt hiding babies, i stopped reading right there. I wont finish this series now. Like what did this man do to you that got u hiding babies for 10 years? I hate when the authors make their characters do that like why make the kids suffer? So now I dont like her character anymore. She decided to run drugs and money, it wasn't like he was beating her and making her do it.

  • Good read iwish free would have went on and told ghost about the twins instead of hearing if from staten she qas straight wrond for that, i hope justice makes it and please dont make her dumb enough to go back to that punk todd, i live her and priest together and the girls love her, sorry marisol but i understand where priest coming from with her, all she wants to be in life is a housekeeper thats a no go. I really hope that for staten and the girls sake that liberty tells ghost that it zeek was involved in the shooting him and zoe definitely need to go, im glad free dumped zoe after he slapped her.i can't stand shakira, I'll be glad when ghost opens his eyes to her thot @$$, she done irked my entire soul, hopefully ghost finds out about her soon and the daughter not being his probably from the hospital. I can't wait for part 2and i hope everyone makes it out okay.
  • First off...thank you for bringing the forgotten borough to light. Grew up on Long Island my entire life and been to Staten Island 4 times. Makes me want to take a trip just to ride around.
Ok so I fought Shakira about 100 times. At one point I put the book down saying I was done reading ( it lasted about 5 minutes) this book because this thot was on my last nerve. Her payday is coming. Staten has me cracking up, we all need a friend like him. Priest, he will be blessed because some sperm donors would never think about giving up their dreams to raise 3 girls. Ghost reminded me of Ghost from Power. That’s who he looks like in my head. Free, Jus and Liberty are my sisters from another mister.
Please don’t leave us hanging for too long. I feel like I’m holding my breath for the next book. Sheesh!
